Assure For Homeowners

You want to be sure that your new home improvement complies with Building Regulations…. and so does the Government. That’s why every window and door installation or replacement in England and Wales must now be registered as reaching the standards set by the Government’s Building Regulations. If you were to have work carried out that did not comply with Building Regulations, the installation would not be legal and could cause significant problems when you come to sell your home. Don’t worry – you don’t have to do anything. Your installation company should do it all for you through one of the authorised self-certification bodies such as Assure.

How Does Assure Benefit You?

When it comes to improving your home with new windows and doors, it can be a daunting task to find a company that you can trust. Choosing an Assure-certified installer to complete the work means you can rest assured that the installation complies with Building Regulations and is therefore legal and correct. You will be even be sent a certificate to prove it. This should arrive within 28 days and proves that the work is registered with the Local Authority

All installers and surveyors registered with Assure will be provided with branded ID cards so you know they are exactly who they claim and they have the appropriate Mandatory Technical Competences (MTC’s) to complete the work on your home.
